Fish, Swim & Relax: Canal-Front Port Charlotte Gem

It had many things to do with the pool, hot tub and also is a very nice setting with the canal. We would rent it again for value, things to do, it was clean and there’s lots of space.

Should take down all the things that don’t work broken blinds/shutters in the lanai, needs a new shower door and shower head in the master bath. It’s way over decorated with cheap stuff that’s outdated on the walls and crap sitting on all the furniture, less is more. Some of the furniture (couch) and master bedroom mattress has seen better days and is arranged strangely with the coffee table in the middle of the floor.

This was a lovely and well maintained property. The home vibe had a relaxed "welcome home" feel with lovely furnishings, great appliances, and fun decor. The hosts were very gracious with answering questions (via the property manager) and provided amenities to help us feel at home and have a comfortable stay. The pool and hot tub on the lanai were a favorite spot. And, the beds and pillows were wonderful for a restful sleep. Definitely recommend!

There were a lot of light switches and labeling them would be helpful. One of the bathrooms lacked a towel bar and had a slow draining tub/shower. When exiting the kitchen onto the lanai, the rug extending under the dinette area and the door curled up and presented a trip hazard. The bathroom rugs and the lanai furniture cushions were in need of laundering.
