Unit 18B at Granlibakken

I can not say enough good things about this location. When I lived in Tahoe we frequented the conference facilities for local engagements. This was the first time as a guest and it did not disappoint! We loved the proximity to Tahoe City as well as a launching point to the west shore. Though we did not encounter anyone from the management team, we had a seamless check-in and check-out experience. And everyone on property at Granlibakken were wonderful to interact with!

While good, didn’t have a hair dryer as noted in list of items. Called about it but no one ever brought one.

I loved the balcony. Also, the Pub was very nice and the staff friendly. The pool and surrounding amenities were beautiful.

It was the size of a hotel room, unfortunately, there were 5 chairs and a small table also included. There was no useable closet since the refrigerator and an empty box took up the space. I would suggest replacing the two chairs and table with a small dresser. There was no explanation on how to use the 2 TV remotes. The guide came up but then the Firestick message came up and there was no getting rid of it. Ended up using my computer for movies. In all fairness to Granlibakken, the room was not typical of their other rooms. 18B is privately owned. When renting direct from the owners, Granlibakken will not accommodate even loaning a hairdryer which the room did not have.
