quiet place to stay, reasonable distance to the subway but walkable. quick response from owners. nice big airy alternative to accoms in the city.

slightly awkward layout in the lounge but we werent there much, but def good enough for relaxing. maybe a hardcopy of cleanup reqs in a drawer, and not always sure the door was locking when we leave

- Great location. Right next to Astoria Park where you have an athletic track, soccer field and the Astoria Public Pool. 10 min. walk to Subway. - Safe, residential neighborhood. Felt safe even at night. - Spacious and modern apartment. Great for a family with two kids. - Easy check-in and good communication from host company - I would stay here again

- The listed address is wrong. The correct address is 25-20 23rd street. A previous reviewer has also mentioned this, so it really should be corrected, since there is some distance between the adresses. - 15 min. to Manhattan is misleading. Probably technically correct that you could reach outer Manhattan by car in 15 min., but it would be more like 25-30 min. to Central Manhattan. By Subway it would be a total of at least 30 min. However, it is still easy, in my opinion - also to reach other parts of NYC.

The apartment was very modern, new, and comfortable. The layout was nice and the size was huge by NY standards. The kitchen is fully equipped with all major appliances and everything worked. Huge shower in the bathroom. Gaining entry by door code was easy and there is also a code for the gate, which makes the place feel secure even on the first floor. The neighborhood is residential and feels safe. The location is great —15 minutes from the subway, and there are a lot of restaurants and bodegas around. I would stay here again if not for the issues I had with getting the wrong unit (see other feedback).

Incorrect Listing Information —The listing says “City view, Garden view” and the apartment had neither. —There was no washing machine, as stated. —This listing and another on Booking.com (“2‑Bedroom Apartment 15 Minutes From Manhattan in LIC Astoria Queens”) are from the same owner, yet this one is consistently $100–$400 more per night with no explanation. What’s more, I was given the OTHER apartment — it matched photos & info from the other listing, not this one. Although this listing says “apartment #2,” check‑in instructions said #1. When I questioned it, they simply changed it to say #2 on the instructions, but I was still given apartment #1F—the cheaper unit from the other listing. The owner claimed the units were identical, which contradicts the price difference, the photos, and the fact that there was no washing machine. —The address is listed as 26-20 23rd St. but that is several blocks away from the actual place. —The “15 Minutes From Manhattan” claim is misleading; it’s about a 15‑minute walk to the subway, and much longer to reach Manhattan. Condition of the Apartment Generally clean, but neglected areas were dusty (e.g., top of refrigerator, where a sticky toy was also found). One pillowcase had a stain but smelled clean. There was a bag of chips in one of the nightstand drawers. A bedroom had broken blinds that didn’t provide full privacy. A missing brick in the front steps created a safety concern. Surveillance Concerns Despite having only 3 guests (4 on one night), the owner accused us of hosting a 7–10 person party, which never occurred. On one evening we briefly let in friends who were locked out of their apartment, but the accusation made it clear we were being watched, which felt intrusive and creepy.
