Caroline's House

Property was amazing and found every thing we need inside and more. Location is great and everything close and easy to walk to.

Only the shower was a bit funny to adjust to a cooler water. And didn’t manage to use the oven.

On a hill! Lol you wouldn’t have the view then.

Caroline's house felt like a home away from home. Comfy sofas and a kitchen equipped with everything you could think of. There was a bottle of wine waiting for us when we arrived which was a lovely bonus. We had 2 cars with us and although we did have to park further up the road when we first arrived (it was midday on the first Saturday of carnival week) by the time we came back to check in there was a space outside and another just round the corner. We didn't need to use the cars all week as we made use of buses and the steam train as well as enjoying the amazing weather on Swanage beach. It is a rather steep hill from the town to the house but we managed it easily carrying SUPs and my mum walked up (she's 78), an ice-cream for the journey helped! The beds were comfy and the windows opened fully which was needed in the hot weather; there were also small fans in each bedroom to help combat the heat. This house was a lovely find and we hope to be coming back again soon!

The only thing we struggled with was the temperature of the shower (too hot) but think we must have just been doing something wrong. To be honest having a bath instead felt like a real holiday treat!

It was very clean and spacious and a stones through from the high street and beach

Parking was limited but only resulted (worst case) as a few minute walk from the house
