The host was incredibly friendly and so accomodating. The rooms were comfortable and very clean. I enjoyed the ambience and the opportunity to relax on the balcony in the morning. Breakfast was delicious and the friendly pet dog was an extra special treat.

The most perfect accommodation and hosts. Deepal and his wife welcome you as family and we didn’t want to leave! Our room was clean, comfortable and spacious with great air conditioning and wi-fi. Deepal’s wife, Chamila prepared exceptional food for us and brought us treats during the day, including different local fruits to try. We also discovered that Deepal has his own Tour Guide & Private Driver company, MD Tours, which is very highly rated. This was our first trip to Sri Lanka and we are so fortunate to have met these kind, welcoming people. We look forward to staying with them again as soon as possible and booking a tour with Deepal to explore more of this beautiful island. Many thanks to you both.

Eine charmante kleine Villa. Abseits des Trubels von Unawatuna. Es gibt 2 verschiedene Räume einmal für 2 und 3 Personen. Die Zimmer bieten alles was man benötigt. Gemütlich eingerichtet, Aircondition, grosser Kühlschrank, Wasserkocher, Kaffee, Tee, genügend Stauraum. Das Badezimmer ist geräumig und hat vor allem heißes Wasser, was nicht immer selbstverständlich ist. Deepal und seine Frau Chamila haben uns kulinarisch verwöhnt. Ein exzellentes Abendessen im Schein der beleuchteten Außenterrasse mit liebevoller Dekoration. Keine Wünsche blieben offen. Das beste Essen und Frühstück auf unserer 19-tägigen Rundreise. Den 2 km entfernten Strand erreicht man leicht mit dem öffentlichen Bus ca. 30 ct. oder mit dem Tuktuk. Ein kleiner Supermarkt ist direkt um die Ecke. Deepal bietet auch Touren über die gesamte Insel an. Er ist ein umsichtiger und sicherer Fahrer. Wir bedanken uns ganz herzlich bei Deepal und Chamila für die Gastfreundschaft und die Herzlichkeit mit der wir empfangen wurden. Wir waren gerne länger geblieben.

An exceptional stay with outstanding hosts and truly memorable food. From the moment you arrive, Deepal and Chamila make you feel more like a friend than a guest, with warm, attentive hospitality that genuinely stands out. The Sri Lankan breakfasts and dinners are fantastic. Rooms are clean, well-appointed, and comfortable with en-suite bathrooms, A/C and a fridge, plus a stunning shared balcony. The location is ideal—just a short ride to shops, restaurants and the beach—and Micky the dog adds to the charm. Highly recommended for anyone wanting authentic hospitality and exceptional home-cooked food.
