We all had a comfortable night sleep in comfy beds. Really lovely atmosphere.
Food was delicious . We will be coming back. Had lovely chats with the staff, felt like you had known them for years, this really added to our stay.

The staff were entirely amazing, welcoming and great. Also, they offered us a great breakfast.
The heating was not working as soon we arrived but the staff immediately sorted that thing.

Wonderful location. Pizzas were amazing at the restaurant and staff were super friendly. The view from the room was incredible.
A little cold in the room, and slightly needing an update.

The staff were super friendly and as I had to check out earlier than breakfast they made me an egg sandwich to go which I thought was really sweet. The room was very comfortable and warm, lovely view from the balcony.

The hotel is an amazing location adjacent to the river. It was in flood, but the property is high up and the balconies on stilts. The staff were really helpful and accommodating of us arriving late. The rooms were clean and well presented.

The property have outstanding views over the river to the mountains beyond. There is ample safe car parking adjacent to the main building. The owners were very friendly
The rooms were a bit noisy mainly due to the doors.

Nice location.
A bit further out than thought. Room could do with bedside cabinets…a little basic but ok for money. When it has been fully refurbished will be a good place to stay.

The view
The Manager was friendly and tried to help fix the shower but I still had the same problem the following morning.
Beds were acceptable but my travelling companion found his bed low and struggled to get out.
the poor room facilities, old torn stained carpets, cramped bathroom, large crack in basin, shower temp volcanic and unchangeable, poor quality furniture, no chair in room, no bedside table, stained towel, musty smell, unreliable, slow wifi.
The public areas were grubby and uninviting
I was in Room 205 - I recommend that this room be avoided

Carly, the owner, was such a nice woman!
I had car trouble, and she helped me all the way through!
All the staff is really really nice and helpful!
There were some spiderwebs on the ceiling. But that was all!

Another lovely visit to Wales and an evening at the Roadhouse. Lovely room and comfortable beds with a gorgeous view over the river and mountains. The staff and owners are always very welcoming and friendly. A good breakfast to start the day before we left.

The staff were all lovely and extremely helpful. They went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The rooms are currently being renovated but they were comfortable and clean. The food was very good, especially the wood fired home made pizza's.
The views of the river Usk from our room and the dining room were fabulous.
I would stay here again if we came back this way again.

Beautiful location, rooms had lovely balcony views. Staff were weloming and lovely. Yummy bacon rolls.
The bed was very uncomfortable, it sank in the middle and footboard makes it difficult for taller people to sleep comfortably. I know it is a new establishment but I also hope they put some chairs on the large balconies in the rooms to be able to sit and enjoy the view without having to go to the patio/eating area.

Excellent views from our room & the communal areas. Friendly staff. Good food. Dog friendly.
Rooms could do with a good overhaul/refurb. Looking tired/worn out.

The breakfast was amazing and the hosts were exceptional. We’ve really enjoyed staying at this hotel and would highly recommend to anybody else wanting to stay. The views were spectacular and the staff went above and beyond all expectations we will be staying again. The owners even went above and beyond and accommodating my daughter’s picky needs and made pasta in the shape of a dog the first night. She absolutely loved staying in there and we will be booking to stay there again next year once the green man dates have been released.
In all honesty, I don’t think they could’ve improved in any way. The hotel is still work in progress so it went above and beyond our expectations for our stay
