It was spacious and lovely! It felt refreshing to stay in a bigger place after mini-sized hotels! We loved the sleeping arrangements in the tatami!
Nothing, it was perfect!

We arrived earlier than the check-in time, but we had a baby and it started raining. The owner kindly lets us to stay on the first floor while the cleaning lady was cleaning the 2nd floor. The house itself is very cute and clean! We really enjoyed our stay there and I will absolutely come back if I happen to go back to Kyoto to attend the same conference. The bathroom was also very nice!!
