We liked the location, the character of the building, feeling part of the local community and the hustle and bustle of the town centre, as well as nearby walks and the welcome gifts left for us. The owner was also very responsive to queries.
Some of the furniture is worn and very dusty. It makes the cottage smell dusty and triggers allergies - so could do with a deep clean.
The furniture and decorations feel a bit random and uncoordinated - which makes it feel less homely.

Location was perfect. You can walk to the town in minutes where there are lots of bars. Lovely pub a few doors down.
I had to ask for the door code, it could have been sent without me asking. Other than that all good.

Great location right on the river
Noise from 6am due to market stall holders setting up right outside the property. This was not reported and had we known this, we wouldn’t have booked this accommodation.
