convenient location to the Cardrona Alpine Resort and just 20 min. to Wanaka. Place had good facilities including heating, washing machine, drier, electric stove and a dishwasher.

some noise coming from adjacent rooms specially at night; wifi connection had issues but was fixed after contacting the host.

No wifi or sporadic availability, with also no mobile network and effectively in the middle of nowhere you are really isolated, so make sure to download some movies or bring a book and tell your friends you won't be in touch during your stay. They tried to remedy the wifi situation at first as there was no network at all but even after it was fixed the reason was that it has to do with it being remote. So they should really advertise as such that they don't offer internet. Also you can hear everything from next door. Literally word for word conversations and getting woke up by the alarm clock from next door was not great.

First impressions were great! Comfortable, great location, all the comforts of home and then some.

We quickly realised and were very disappointed to discover that there is no soundproofing between units. Even normal conversation, clattering of crockery etc were clearly heard, and when the neighbours decided to run what sounded like their drier late in the evening this whirred away until near midnight both nights we were pleased we were only there for 2 nights. Comfortable in every other way, but that lack of soundproofing was really intrusive, and made us acutely aware of any sounds we were making.
