Casa Donna Concetta

Lejligheden ligger lidt væk fra den meget travle del af byen hvilket er meget rart hvis man godt kan lide at kunne trække sig lidt. Stedet er flot og vedligeholdt. Dagen før vores ophold skulle starte, blev vores færge aflyst. Vi undersøgte muligheder for transport, men endte med at skrive til Stefania. Hun stod for transport med taxi hvor kommunikation var helt i top (hvor chauffør stod og hentede os osv.) Stefania var også meget behjælpelig med anbefalinger til restauranter og booking heraf.

The view says it all! In fact, it was so wonderful that for 6 nights in Positano we never went out for dinner. We would have a big lunch and for dinner just end up on the patio with some wine and antipastos. It was fabulous! The kitchen, bathroom and bedroom all served us well. But did I mention the patio and view? :)

We had no problems with this but the location is high on the hill. We got great exercises on the stairs! For us the location was perfect! But if you're mobility challenged you should be forewarned.

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Donna Concetta! The apartment was beautiful, spotless, and offered stunning views — truly the perfect Amalfi experience. The hosts were kind and welcoming, making us feel right at home. One important tip: hire a porter for your luggage — the climb up is steep, and it’s absolutely worth the extra help. Highly recommend!

Nothing at all

Our host Stefania was wonderful, super accommodating of our late check in time. She was communicative throughout our stay and even helped us arrange the luggage service to get our bags from the ferry to the apartment (a must have!). The apartment is a great size for 2, and we enjoyed Prosecco on the terrace at sunset (courtesy of our host!) and our morning coffees looking out at the amazing view (also well stocked by our host). The pastries left for our morning was a great surprise and amenity, as well as the washing machine laundry detergent pod. We made use of the washing machine as well during our stay as the weather was warmer than anticipated. We felt like we got a great value for the money, and found the location to be quiet and out of the hustle and bustle of the town which is what we wanted. Pro tip, the grocery store up the hill from the apartment (5 minute walk) is well stocked and does takeaway sandwiches and salads and is owned by a very friendly family. We will certainly stay here again if we’re back in Positano!

The location was a bit far up the side of town, farther than we anticipated by looking at a map which was not a deal breaker for us as we enjoy the quiet. There is a hotel down the street on the terrace side that is loud and plays music til at least 10 pm some nights that was a bit of a disturbance, but nothing we’d ding the host for as it is out of their control.
