Silenza B&B, Charme, Comfort e Relax nel Gargano

B&B nuovo e immerso nella natura, con vista sul mare di Mattinata. Elegante, curato nei minimi dettagli, design moderno, camere spaziose con ogni comfort, ognuna con patio e giardino. Colazione varia e di qualità in un ambiente incantevole. Host professionale e premuroso.

È un posto che permette di rigenerarsi, fuori dalla confusione e cullati e confortati dalle luci, in lontananza, di Mattinata. La veranda, un angolo speciale , dove fare yoga al mattino presto o al calar del sole, leggere o comunque rilassarsi. Michele, ospite discreto ma sempre presente e disponibile a rispondere alle nostre richieste, ha creato insieme al padre un posto davvero unico. Ogni pezzo, scelto con cura e gusto, trasmette la passione con cui accoglie i suoi ospiti e l’amore per il questo angolo di Paradiso. E il tocco finale: la ricca e buonissima colazione servita nella grotta. Da provare! Bravo Michele!

The property is only a year old and has clearly been designed and built with considerable thought and care. It is in a lovely part of Puglia, within the Gargano National Park, with spectacular views across the valley, and provides an excellent base from which to explore this beautiful and rather special area. Everything is very well appointed, with good-quality facilities and a great deal of attention paid to making the property comfortable and easy to enjoy. Our room was spacious and extremely comfortable, with a lovely terrace from which to enjoy the wonderful surroundings. Silenza is very much a family affair, and that is an important part of its charm. Michele was exceptionally kind and helpful throughout our stay and went out of his way to be obliging and to make sure that we had everything we needed. His parents and other members of the family are also involved, and there is a genuine warmth and generosity to the hospitality. Michele speaks relatively little English, but our son speaks Italian, which certainly helped, and communication was always friendly and good-humoured. A particular pleasure was being able to have dinner at Silenza rather than having to go out to a restaurant after a day spent exploring. The food was excellent, freshly prepared from ingredients bought locally each day, and accompanied by very good wines. It made for a wonderfully relaxed way to spend the evening and was one of the real pleasures of our stay. The costs were also very reasonable, particularly given the quality of the accommodation, food and facilities. Altogether, Silenza is a thoughtfully designed and extremely comfortable property in a beautiful setting, made particularly special by Michele and his family and their genuine hospitality. A lovely place from which to experience the Gargano, and one we would very happily recommend.

Very little. Our son’s room was spacious and comfortable but looked onto the attractive internal courtyard rather than having the spectacular view across the valley that we enjoyed from our room. This is really an observation rather than a criticism. The property is also quite a distance from Brindisi Airport, and the route through the salt flats and the final approach can seem a little unusual on first arrival. Once we knew the way, however, it presented no real difficulty. These were very minor points and did not detract from what was an extremely enjoyable stay.
