Duo Lux Golem Apartment

The apartment exceeded our expectations - it is beautiful, has two bedrooms (one with a large double bed and the other with two single beds), two bathrooms, two balconies and a lounge area. Perfect for our family of 4 with two teenage girls. One balcony had a clothes drier and the other had a table and two chairs. Note that you cannot see the pool from either balcony. Good location, short walk to the seafront where there are lots of bars, restaurants and small supermarkets. The apartment is part of Hotel Apart Resilient. You can use their pool but there is a charge. We were asked for 1000 Lek per person per day but with the host's help, this was reduced to 700 Lek. We also paid to use a pool at a different nearby hotel (Henry Resort and Spa) on one day. There is also a breakfast buffet available at the Hotel Apart Resilient for 700 Lek per person. Drinks and meals are available for purchase throughout the day. The apartment has air conditioning units in both the main bedroom and lounge area. These were very effective for cooling the whole apartment. There is underground parking available but we didn't use this. The host is a lovely man, speaks great English and was available to help with any issues plus ordering taxis etc. We were given lots of clean towels and bedsheets for our 10 night stay. The apartment has great WiFi and a large smart TV with Netflix, Disney Plus etc.

The kitchen was reasonably well equipped but a few saucepans would be useful (there was only one) as would a toaster and microwave. (It does have a sandwich toaster.) Some more mugs too. Both bedrooms had fantastic huge wardrobes but there were no coat hangers. There were no toilet rolls and no soap in one of the bathrooms on arrival. These are minor complaints; the experience was overwhelmingly positive and I encourage others to book.
