Rai uncle welcomed me very warmly, and his way of speaking and interacting with everyone reflects deep seriousness and genuine decency. A special thanks to Vinod Bhaiya, who never refuses to help with any work, and whose way of speaking reflects true politeness and decency.

There wasn’t even a single thing that could be seen as a negative point.

Our stay at Shri Shiv Homestay, Varanasi was truly a wonderful and memorable experience. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and well taken care of. The homestay is clean, comfortable, and has a peaceful atmosphere, which is exactly what one looks for when visiting a spiritual city like Varanasi. A special mention goes to Shankar Ji, who was extremely kind and accommodating. He ensured all our needs were met and was always available to help, making our stay smooth and stress-free. We are especially grateful to Vinod Ji, whose support made our temple visits truly special. He guided us to all the major temples, helped us avoid long queues, and arranged the Rudrabhishek pooja at Kashi Vishwanath Temple, which was a deeply spiritual and unforgettable experience for us. The food deserves high praise as well—delicious, freshly prepared, and very hygienic, just like home-cooked meals. Overall, Shri Shiv Homestay offers excellent hospitality, warmth, and genuine care. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Varanasi for a comfortable stay and a fulfilling spiritual journey.

Mr Shankar, who runs the house, is a very good person. He is cordial and very supportive. Mr Vinod is an asset for this property. He is a superhero. You ask anything, and he is at your service.

I stayed at this beautiful homestay in Varanasi last week, and my experience was truly wonderful. The place felt peaceful, clean, and welcoming — a perfect spot to unwind and experience the city’s spiritual energy. The food was simple yet delicious, cooked with love and care. What made my stay even more memorable was the warmth of the people. The caretaker, Vinod bhaiya, was exceptionally kind and went above and beyond to make our trip comfortable. We also hired him as our tour guide, and he showed us around Banaras so well — with genuine interest and local insights that only someone from the city could share. The owner, Mr. Shankar Rai, was very kind, humble, polite and always ready to help. His grounded nature and hospitality truly reflect the soul of Varanasi. Overall, I had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this homestay to anyone visiting Varanasi — for its comfort, food, and above all, the warmth of the people who make you feel right at home. 🌸
