It ticked all our boxes. Elegant modern villa with simple, tasteful decor offering everything we wanted. The outside space was equally lovely, we lived outdoors for two weeks. We spent entire days when we didn’t leave the property. The kitchen was fully functional and there was plenty of hot water (at high pressure) for showers. Voula, the owner was fantastic. (It’s worth waiting for the pool lights to go off - the night sky is incredible)

The property is lovely but a word of advice. We chose it because of its remoteness and the south facing view. The south side of Crete is far less touristy than the north, we knew this too. If you are a nervous driver, you may find the roads around Kerames challenging, that’s all.
