I had to make last minute changes and decided to stay in Isola delle Femmine, splitting my month with Palermo City center. This was the best decision I’ve made. If you want walking distance to the grocery stores, piazza, bakeries, meat shop, restaurants, train station, the promenade, and the beaches with its sunset and sunrise, this is the perfect location. You can also visit other beach towns nearby, loved Spiaggia Capaci! Valentina is a great host, prompt about my inquiries, and super helpful. We’d definitely come back to this special place! Grazie mille!
It can be a bit noisy since you're in the heart of the town, but it's part of the local Sicilian experience (wouldn't change a thing)!
