Florence homestay sipi falls

Amazing garden with direct view to Sipi Falls and ample of space to sit. Spacious and comfortable beds. Francis is very friendly and accommodating, and will also help to arrange tours around Sipi. Thank you for the hospitality!

It would have been beneficial to have a bin in the room, and maybe someone around.

The location of this guesthouse is superb. It sits on the side of Mount Elgon and has breathtaking views over the side of the mountain, down into the valley below. It's possible to see Sipi falls from the grounds. The restaurant is very good, with nice food and very attentive staff. They can offer a guided tour to both sets of waterfalls, which is well worth undertaking.

The part of the site where my rooms were is undergoing an upgrade, which is still a work in progress. Francis, the young man who runs the guesthouse, asked me for some suggestions as to what improvement should be made. It was unfortunate that the local area's electricity supply had been damaged by lightning, so there was no hot water. Suggested improvements are: Improve the hot water supply; more furniture in the rooms, e.g somewhere to hang clothes; improve the decorations of the rooms; mirrors in the bathroom; some hooks in the bathroom for clothes. Any one reading this should not be discouraged from going there. It is a great place.
