About this apartment rental

TWO WEEKS MINIMUM Rental from Saturday to Saturday in peak season (Dec - April).
Located on the beautiful and quiet southern end of the island, Sand Caper sits on the beach side of Estero Boulevard and boasts a large pool which invites you to swim or just soak up the sun. There is a sandy walking path straight to the beach. Every opportunity to enjoy warm, sun-filled days walking the miles of white sand beach and relaxing by the water, Sand Caper 708 is a lovely 7th floor 2B/2B condo with a screened in lanai that enjoys a partial view of the Gulf and a partial view of the island to the bayside. The large master bedroom en suite has a king sized bed, its own TV and its own lanai entrance. The guest bedroom has two twin bed, its own TV and a guest bath right next door.

The open living area has comfortable seating to enjoy a large flat screen TV, a sofa sleeper for extra guests and a large dining table with nice views of the island. For your convenience there is a washer/dryer in the unit, free in-unit Wifi, a building elevator and ample parking. Walking distance to shopping, restaurants and a marina, where you can launch your next fishing trip! There is a STRICT NO SMOKING, NO PETS policy which has been implemented for the health and comfort of all guests and the owner.

Amenities of Sand Caper include a BBQ Grill Area, and a Resort Sized Heated Pool and Sundeck. Best of all is the beachfront in your backyard...walk the sandy path to water's edge!

Sand Caper has been hard at work to make the complex beautiful again with an atrium open to the sky with tropical foliage in the center of the building and a brand new pool, pool house, and picnic area. They are ready to welcome visitors back and certain you will enjoy the beautiful white sandy beaches in their backyard. Your vacation condo is inspected prior to your arrival.

The amenities are balanced with the natural beauty of sand and surf on the Gulf. You are just steps from the tranquility of the preserve, a stopping point for the migration of the rare white pelicans and roseate spoonbills. This vacation home's ideal location offers easy southbound access to the mainland. The quiet, south end of the island is the perfect place to enjoy the true island lifestyle.

Take the short ride by car or the island trolley to the north end of the island to Old San Carlos Boulevard with loads of new restaurants (and some old favorites), food trucks, bars and Bayside Park. Also at the north end of the island sits Bowditch Point Park with its turtle walk and lively beach where all the boats pass on their way out to the Gulf. You can choose to go south to Lovers Key State Park, where you can hike along nature trails, canoe or kayak along estuaries and bicycle amidst the mangroves or further south to exclusive shopping centers in Bonita and Naples. Santini Marina Plaza, just across the street, will offer you restaurants, bars, shops and a marina, where you can rent a boat or kayak and explore the Great Blue Waterway and mangrove back bays! The island's major supermarket, Publix, is open, as is Snook Bite Marina with its two lively restaurants on the Bay, and is just a 2-mile drive away.

We would like to note that there is still construction occurring on the island as Fort Myers Beach rebuilds newer and stronger after Hurricane Ian. We have been hard at work to make the island beautiful again. Nicely appointed condo Sand Caper #708 on the top floor of the building, screened in lanai has side view of ocean. Beach was very nice, a short walk from the condo because you had to walk around the wildlife sanctuary(short beautiful walk). Was fun to sit on the bench and watch the birds in the sanctuary and then walk the beach, picking up shells. Convenient area… CVS directly across the street and 7-Eleven right next-door, and San Martini Plaza has a few restaurants, a nail shop, and a couple other very nice touristy shops. We never went to Times Square but we did take a ride over to Sanibel and Captiva which were both beautiful. We also recommend Flea Masters Flea Market in north Ft Myers and the Publix just off the key on Bonita Beach Rd. The condo was nicely furnished, very comfortable king bed , everything necessary to cook meals in the kitchen. The pool was very nice and pool area well-kept. We were a little disappointed that you could not bring food to the pool area because it would’ve been nice to be able to have lunch at the pool. Kathleen Nesbitt Inc. was the contact for the property(office right across the street) and was fantastic about returning all communications quickly. They made the rental process extremely easy and efficient and we would definitely use them again!

Excellent location!! The condo overall needs updating but it is very well equipped except for cleaning supplies to be able to maintain the place. There was lack of a good broom and dust pan set. The dust pan they have is terrible. You cannot pick up sand with that. Also no good cleaning supplies to maintain the balcony after a heavy rain. There is no mop, nothing to clean the balcony. We had to use a beach towel. We were not going to invest in cleaning supplies. Other than that we absolutely loved it.

We stayed for two weeks while working remotely. By the time we left it felt like home. The condo is clean and well stocked. It was a short walk to the beach and to the sunrise on the bay. Beautiful setting on both sides. I’d stay again!
