Staff was awesome! We had two full size luggage + 2 bags + backpacks and there was no way to climb the stairs. So grateful that the staff took care of the luggages. Breakfast was great! Shower was great! Would recommend this place to anyone interested in staying a night to experience Jiufen late at night and early in the morning before the crowd.
Only complain is our room had an unpleasant aroma.

Great location even though it requires some walking on a steep trail to arrive. Amazing view from the patio. The staff was so kind and helpful. Great little breakfast!

Lovely little balcony, well placed if you want to explore jiufen. Service staff were very friendly and helpful. During check in and check out, they helped to bring our luggage from and to a more convenient dropoff point, which was of enormous help given the many stairs in jiufen.
Stairs are narrow and steep, which was slightly difficult to navigate repeatedly. There are many small decorations in the room, which are charming but not well kept, making the room a little dusty. The room temperature also varies depending on where you are, as the air conditioning is located on one far end.

The property is centrally located and the room really big. The owners are friendly and the breakfast was delicious.
The room is really dated so it doesn't feel clean to my family. Also, the grass is overgrown around the property so the owner might should clean it up more. Two of the mattresses are super firm and uncomfortable to sleep on. Also at least one of the mattresses has disgusting stains under the bed sheet.
