    We have stayed here twice in the past 3 months, both times en route from the Harwich ferry to visit family. The closeness to the port is as brilliant as are the two amazing ladies behind the reception. That’s where it stops to be positive. There is A LOT of room for improvement when it comes to the cleanliness. The carpets in most areas have seen better days and look as if they need a good cleaning, including in both rooms we occupied. The floor in the lift is an itter disgrace and on both visits looked as if it never gets cleaned and is filthy and sticky. The shower gel and handwash provided are of a decent quality, however, the dispenser of the hand wash by the sink was absolutely filthy and had some brown slily sticky residue around the bottleneck and down the side. The brew kit brovided is adequate, nothing special bit it is great to have it in the room. If you like a clean room and overall your hotel to be clean, don’t use this one. We will not be coming back here. Hugs thank you to the two wonderful ladies we met on out two visits. You made our stay better by being such delightful people.
