Numerous hiking trails are available, including mushroom picking in the fall, or cycling along the towpaths. The lodge has the Accueil Vélo (Bike Welcome) label (required for storing and repairing bikes, plus a brochure on cycle routes). Saône Valley destination: discover the towpaths, river tourism, and marinas. Visit the Passavant-la-Rochère glassworks and the Gallo-Roman site of Jonvelle. Vesoul and its historic center, the Ludolac water park, and the Georges Garret museum are 40 minutes away. Bourbonne-Les-Bains thermal baths are 30 minutes away. New in 2019: a large annex room (60 m²), open from April to the end of October) at the Domaine de Cherlieu (reservation of the 2 gîtes with supplement) for meals with crockery and tables. This beautiful house with authentic charm includes on the ground floor: a fitted kitchen, a living room with pellet stove, a shower room, WC. Upstairs: 1 bedroom for 4 people (2 beds 90/190 and 1 bed 160/190), 1 bedroom for 4 people (1 bed 160/190 and 2 beds 90/190), 1 bedroom for 2 people (1 bed 160/190), bathroom with WC. Outside, lawned garden, a covered shelter with barbecue and garden furniture. Electricity charges extra and heating included, at the rate of one bag of pellets per day. Wifi Internet. Horse riders welcome. Animal: 1 per stay max with supplement. Possible access to the owners' swimming pool, in summer. You will be welcomed at the cottage by the owners.

Coming from Preigney, take the direction of Montigny lès Cherlieu. At the entrance to the village of Montigny (after the tennis court) turn right, follow the Abbaye sign. Drive 4 km in the forest following the Abbaye indications. You arrive in a clearing, it is the first set of buildings on your left.
