Things You Need to Know
The staircase in the cottage is wooden, open on one side, and does not have a handrail. We kindly advise guests to take extra care when using the stairs.
The ceiling is below 6ft in areas.
Due to the age and layout, the property may not be suitable for guests with limited mobility or for families with infants, and so there are no high chairs or travel cots at the property.
Towels and linen are provided
Dogs are welcome. Please note additional pet charges are £25 each per stay

House Rules
We would respectfully ask that the following house rules are adhered to, to avoid any damages. Should any damages arise please note charges may be taken from your security deposit.
Please note check out is 10am. Please ensure you vacate on time to allow our housekeepers to enter the property and prepare it for the next guests.
Smoking is not permitted in the property at any time.
Please note for insurance purposes the number of guests must not exceed the total occupancy of the house.
For fire safety reasons please do not use any candles in the property.
Please be respectful to neighbours. Quiet hours are between 11pm and 9am.
Parties and loud music are not permitted.

Nestled in the heart of the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Robertsbridge is surrounded by a beautiful part of the Sussex countryside. Right on your doorstep you’ll find access to the Sussex Border Path, a 138 mile route that goes all the way from Emsworth to Rye.
Just a short drive away is the famous Great Dixter, a stunning 15th-century manor house with gardens designed by Edwin Lutyens and made famous by horticulturalist Christopher Lloyd. Step back in time, the historic Bodiam Castle, with its moat, towers and portcullis - just 15 minutes by car.
Robertsbridge is extremely well connected. The A21 puts you in easy reach of Hastings (25 minutes), Tonbridge (30 minutes) and Sevenoaks (45 minutes), while the village station is just a 15 minute stroll from the cottage, with direct links to London Charing Cross in just over an hour. Gatwick Airport is also within easy reach, just an hour’s drive away, ideal for international guests.
