Surfer's Hideout - central two-storey HOUSE with garden & private balcony

Very spacious house with kitchen where you can make it feel a home for your holiday, and Kelvin and his family where super helpful and welcoming, we even went for breakfast together!

not the house owner fault but good to know that the island experiences power cuts sometimes

La ubicación está muy bien, los espacios muy bien decorados, suficiente espacio, balcón muy muy agradable. Los anfitriones muy agradables, nos permitieron hacer el check in antes de la hora establecida.

La distribución de la casa con escaleras de por medio, no es para ir con niños. El baño no tiene suficiente ventilación y muchos mosquitos.

The place was in a fantastic location and was super easy to get around on a bike from here (+ tons of tuktuks near by), the host (fayna and kelvin) were super lovely and helpful. Through out the trip they provided heaps of recomendations and contacts for whatever we needed. The place was super clean and looked like the photos. Its perfect for a couple and at a good price point. Overall the place is amazing and we definitely would come back.

There are chickens on the property that go off through out the night. They arent to loud but if you are a light sleeper bring headphones. Also the house isnt totally sealed to the outside (gaps in the windows) so the room gets quite a few mosquitos and can get quite hot. Not deal breakers but something to be aware of.

Our stay here was truly memorable. The space is big, thoughtfully designed, and very well curated—it immediately felt comfortable and inviting. One thing we really appreciated was the strong water pressure, which made a big difference after long days out. The location is also very convenient, with easy access to transportation, the beach, and nearby markets, making it effortless to get around and enjoy the area. What made the experience even better were the owners, who were incredibly friendly and hospitable. They made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Overall, it genuinely felt like a home away from home. I could definitely see myself staying here again, even for a long-term rental.
