7 / 10Good·Oct 2026
No microwave, no way of heating any food or drink. Only regional Victorian accommodation I have stayed in that has not had a microwave oven.
8 / 10Excellent·Oct 2026
Clean and spacious, upstairs, overlooking road and parkland. Soundproofed, comfy bed, coffee pod machine a bonus. Close the main town centre and pubs, restaurants a short walk. A recent refurb makes for a pleasant room and functional bathroom.
Would like a variety of teas in room, but otherwise a good overnight stay.
7 / 10Good·Oct 2026
Location was great but room was on 1st floor with stairs to get to room. Not good for two 80 year olds
Should have been advised when booking that room wasn’t on ground floor. Room lacked chairs to sit at table.

Position
Stairs, shower was terrible, went from scalding hot to freezing cold all the time, there was no happy medium
