Central on Shotover 1

Location

Having to find close off street parking to get your bags to the property.

Location is super central, easy walk to anywhere you want to go. Spacious living area. Kitchen stocked thoughtfully. Complimentary parking is a bonus - it is a bit of a walk with luggage, but worth having the option. Communication with host team was clear and timely.

A review on returning the car park lanyard to the lockbox rather than inside the apartment would be worthwhile.

The property was very clean and comfortable, central to everything we needed and close to the wharf. Having the carpark spot for the car was great too.

Nothing , we loved the property .

The host was very responsive to maintenance issues that came up through the stay. The shower retained water for the first day and we required extra blankets but the host sent maintenance quickly.

The space, with one very small bathroom, a small couch and small dining table really wasn't comfortable for three adults. Note the bathroom and bedrooms are on separate floors which didn't suit my elderly parents. Parking is a nightmare and whilst the complimentary carpark was welcomed (esp considering the price normally), it's a fair way away particularly with suitcases. This was also a problem when we were dressed up for a wedding and had to walk down the street to get to the car. We had to leave at 8am to get a space on the street adjacent to the apartment to load suitcases. Even with car close, the pathway to the apartment is over rough cobblestones. The outdoor space is lovely to look at the view and enjoy the afternoon sun, but the furniture isn't inviting or cosy. The rooms were cold and we had to request extra blankets.
