Luxury 2 Bedroom Norfolk Retreat-Private Hot Tub

Just returned from a lovely few days in Cawston. The house was beautiful, we really couldn’t find fault with anything. We particularly enjoyed the outside area especially as the weather was amazing. Hot tub was a huge hit! Location for us was perfect, we loved how quiet it was with the occasional peacock strolling past. Definitely would recommend, so much so we’re planning bother visit!!

This is a lovely property in a beautiful peaceful area. The hot tub was amazing. Was home from home the kitchen well equipped with everything you need. Lovely large secure garden which our dog really enjoyed it was nice to relax in the hot tub knowing our dog was safe to roam. The property was very clean the bath robes were great for getting in and out the hot tub. Was a really nice relaxing stay. A very large tv to enjoy in the evenings. Nice and warm in the property when we arrived and were allowed to check in slightly earlier. Very accommodating.

The cottage is set back from the road among trees, we loved hearing birds in the morning. We used the double bedroom, the bed is very comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped with oven and microwave. The hot tub was lovely, under a covering, with large seating area. The Bell Inn in Cawston was not far and we ate well there. The dog enjoyed the large enclosed garden. Good hot shower.

We could have done with a chair or stool in the bedroom to put our clothes on. Clothes rail in wardrobe broken. Host did not react to message I sent on 1st day. We should have brought flip flops, you need to cross grass and gravel to get to the hot tub. I couldn't work the TV, only worked with sign in.

Wonderful long weekend at Yew Lodge. The property is secluded, surrounded by countryside and woodlands. Very quiet and peaceful, just what we needed to relax. Easy drive to the coast and Norwich, supermarkets about 15-20 mins drive. The lodge has got a big private, enclosed garden, perfect for our dog to run around safely. Hot tub was ready to go when we arrived. Kitchen equipped with hob, oven, microwave and coffee machine. Towels and robes provided. We had a lovely time, Serhan was a great host, and it felt like home away from home. We will definitely be back

We can't fault the property but a little attention to details would make the experience truly luxurious. Double bed in the main bedroom is a little small for 2 adults. Living room needs a blackout curtain as the sensor light in the garden goes off every time there is movement (animal, acorn falling, leaves etc). It needs a little bin in the toilet, tissues, and more toilet paper. It would have been helpful to have a mop, to keep the floor dry after shower. Although self-catering, products like olive oil/vinegar and kitchen towels would be much appreciated, as we wouldn't necessarily bring them when travelling.
