Church View Apartment

Perfectly located for what we needed, literally a 5 min walk to the main areas of Bridlington. Property was very comfortable and very clean.

Parking was very confusing, it said on the advert you could pay for parking over the road but you could only stay for 4 hours. We eventually got hold of the owner and he told us you could pay for all day parking at the train station and it was really cheap. There was also some confusion with the key code, this wasn’t sent to us and we had to chase it up. We’d arrived early and would have liked to gain access earlier if we could, but we ended up getting in later than the 3pm check in.

Bed and sofa really comfortable, Nice ensuite. Good location for shops and town centre. I really liked the board game theme in the apartment, with access to lots of games.

On arrival, it was difficult to locate the apartment as it wasn't identified in the building and had to go round trying the key in all the doors. On entering the apartment it was freezing cold, and after locating the heating controls, it took hours to get to a reasonable temperature. The day before my departure, the heating broke down resulting in no heat for the evening. On arrival, I had to contact the owner of the apartment to set up the wi-fi as details weren't available in the apartment. There was no oven and the freezer compartment in the fridge was not available as was unable to open it. Kitchen tap had a drip problem. Could do with some blinds in the kitchen area to maintain privacy in the dark hours.
