Kos Mare - Elegant Beachfront Stay

The apartment exceeded our expectations. The sea view from the window was absolutely stunning and one of the highlights of our stay. The location is good — right by the sea, with several great restaurants. The apartment itself was very comfortable and well-equipped. It had everything two people could need during their stay, and we felt at home from the first day. Everything was clean, functional, and thoughtfully prepared. A special thank you to Valia and the entire Filoxenia Team for their exceptional hospitality. They were always friendly and helpful.

The only minor thing is that the property is located slightly outside the town center, so getting to the center takes a little longer. However, for us this was more than compensated by the peaceful atmosphere, the proximity to the sea, and the amazing views.

The service and everything else was perfect. The room was nice and clean, and had everything from a coffee maker to a microwave. The market downstairs also offers a discount to Kos Mare guests. However, we weren't given the room with the dining table shown in the picture, and the Wi-Fi didn't work. It's a house with a beautiful view, a 30-minute walk from Kos town center.

We've been there on vacation for 2 weeks. A family of 2 adults and 1 toddler. Our apartment was a 1-bedroom apartment. When you open the door, you have a small kitchen corner on your left with a laundry machine. The kitchen has cups, glasses, kitchenware, 1 big pot, 1 pan, and a microwave. The fridge and freezer were of a decent size. No coffee machine. After that comes a tiny shower, the floor drain always gets clogged without washing your hair. So the floor gets flooded after 2 minutes. Then you have a big comfortable double bed. On request, we got a crib. Close to the bed, you have a small closet. You get a sofa and a dining table. 2 TVs 1 in front of the bed and the other one front of the sofa that is next to the bed. The dining table was too high when sitting in the chair. On request, we didn't get a high chair for our 2-year-old child. So he had to sit on our lap or stand and eat. The apartment has a small balcony where you can see the road and the sea. Under the apartment, there's a supermarket, which was handy. So you have stairs to get to the apartment. The blackout curtains were not large enough to cover the hall glass door that is between the bed/dining room and the balcony. Right in front of the balcony, you get bright light from the street at night. So the room didn't get completely dark. On request we got the apartment cleaned once in 2 weeks. The balcony was not cleaned upon arrival nor when the cleaner was visiting. So we had to clean it by ourselves, as it was dusty. In the apartment, you find a mop and a floor brush. We had issues with a missing lamp on both nightlights and also the remote control was missing batteries. These were solved immediately by Iro.

I would recommend this apartment for couples without children. Also for ppl without physical disabilities, because of the stairs you need to climb to get to the apartment.
