Way-overpriced crappy house with a rough check in.

It is close to Kings beach and Safeway

I entered the house found it half-cleaned due to some management issue, items left by previous renter, bedroom that is locked.. it was not a smooth check in. Also, first floor is quite dark with dirty carpet, all the appliances are like 50 years old, with syrup in the kitchen expired 1.5 years ago, backyard is not maintained at all. The cherry on the top is you better pray not to run into a heat wave like me while renting a house without AC. In summary I pay $500 per day, a price matched to any 5 star hotel in the world, to stay in a house that is old, crappy, dirty, hot, and nothing works as it should be in 2025 (even the clock was dead). I kept wondering how big of a joke I am, and which casino did the owner gamble away all the rents?
