We mostly appreciated that this is a hosted vacation rental; meaning there is a permanent resident in the main house. As we visited businesses in Sedona we learned very quickly that vacation rentals are despised by locals for the extent that long-term rental units have been taken off the market. Airbnb, and the like, are not well received in many places we visit. The location and view from the unit are incredible. Parking was easy and always available. Our host, Linden, was a delight. We really enjoyed talking with her, and she was very respectful of our privacy.

The one suggestion would be to reverse the refrigerator door swing. In tight studio quarters the in-correct door swing took away floor space and encroached into the dining area to open the frig. We managed, but It was very awkward and could be easily corrected. I almost offered to fix it myself, but I didn't have tools and it's not my place. Other than that, the unit was very comfortable, well appointed, and easy to feel at home. I was initially concerned about using the portable single burner cooktop, but it turned out I enjoyed being creative in preparing single pan breakfasts. It was fine in a "Necessity is the mother of invention" way!!! I might have used a gas grill if there was one on the patio.

Beautiful views of red rock!!Close to Uptown. The casita is really cute and very well stocked Would stay here again!! Highly recommend!!
