Historic Chulitna River Lodge

Owner & working staffs were very kind, and room was so nice.

A little far away from Denali National Park (80 mile)

The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The cabins were clean and cozy, and the main guest lodge had a wonderful atmosphere. We especially enjoyed the piano and guitar, the comfortable chairs where you can sit with a coffee and get some work done, and the overall warm and relaxing feeling of the place.

We didn’t fully understand what staying in a “dry cabin” meant before booking. There is no private toilet or shower in the cabin, and our cabin also had no Wi-Fi or AT&T cellular service. This was a little inconvenient for us, especially when we needed to work, make a call, use the internet, or take a shower, as we had to go to the main guest lodge for these things. This is part of the dry-cabin experience rather than a problem with the property itself, but it is something guests should be aware of before booking.
