Comfy beds, spacious, good bathroom. Heating was good.

The bare minimum of toiletries provided, no microwave, toaster or kettle. Inside cupboards & oven hadn’t been cleaned between guests.

The location is great, although in Tromsø public transport works so well that almost any location on the island is convenient.

On the first day I tried to use the hair dryer, but it didn’t work. I reported this to the owner, however I never received any response. I would recommend removing it from the list of amenities if it’s not functional. Unfortunately, the apartment was not properly cleaned – there was a layer of dust on surfaces, mold in the kitchen near the sink, and the shower was rusty and moldy in places. I don’t need a TV when I travel, but the one here also didn’t work – it was only plugged into the power. Instead, this space could have a small table with chairs or a mirror, which would be much more practical. Additionally, there was no kettle in the apartment, which made it difficult to prepare even basic things like tea or coffee.

The property is the ground floor apartment to the right of the house. Location was good, about 15-20 mins walk from the centre of town.

1) The shower cubicle doors are about half an inch short to the ground so when you shower, water escapes all over the bathroom floor. A proper seal is missing. The old white seal is too big and worn. 2) There is no kettle so you have to boil the water in a saucepan for tea or coffee. 3) I reported the issue with the shower cubicle and the water on the bathroom floor, to the hosts on the first morning and they never responded back to me. The apartment is not cheap but I was surprised that the hosts did nothing to help.
