The lodging is outside the CBD but turns out it's just round the corner from the best foodie part of town.
Room was spacious and clean, and the staff were always ready to help, and even wash some clothes.
Only drawback was the building site next door, but there's hardly anything they could do about that.
Would enjoy staying there again.

It wasn't unbearable but certainly not what you'd expect from a hotel or good-mid level motel. Other options available at a similar price point. Cleanliness was not fantastic. Decor, furnishing & equipment were basic, and possibly not suitably cleaned for hotel guest use (e.g. pillows and mattress not suitably protected or treated). Bathroom grouting had brown mould all along the tiles. I probably wouldnt use the shower without flip-flops on. Security lock on the inside broken. Some of my fellow guests displayed signs of substance abuse. Didn't inspire all that much confidence. That aside, the staff were great, and there was a Woolies around the corner.
