Stable Cottage

Host was welcoming. Everything we needed for stay was in the property. Great, quiet location. Easy access to local tourist spots.

Nothing.

Friendly and helpful host, quiet and lovely location, well appointed

All good

Ruth, the owner of Stable Cottage gave us the best ever welcome with tea & cakes. The cottage was beautifully clean & very well equipped with household essentials to facilitate a very comfortable stay. Set off the road in a big garden, it provided a peaceful place to rest after a busy day sight seeing surrounding towns & villages & of course the glorious North York Moor.

The WiFi signal in the surrounding is a bit weak.

Wonderful welcoming from Ruth, our generous host, with a cream tea while we unpacked. This spacious, exceptionally well equipped cottage exceeded our expectations. Wonderfully peaceful location encouraging us to linger and enjoy these restful surroundings. With no light interference the night sky was huge and full of stars. Despite its rural location it was also cose to main links to get about easily. We, particularly, enjoyed some great mountain biking. It was great to be able to wash our kit for the next ride. Also recommend the nearby New Inn for their warm hospitality, great food and drink.

Sadly the intermittent WiFi made it more tricky to plan and plot our rides but I wouldn't be deterred from staying again.....it's hard to get away from it all, without getting away from it all! 😁
