Naxos City Hostel

There were no other people in the room :) so I don't know how comfortable it is in high season. For me it was great! The room had a cute balcony. The location was perfect - close to the town center and to the beach at the same time. The market was close too. It's just a hostel - for having some sleep and that's all, but very convenient

The locker could be bigger. I came with a medium bag so it was fine, but my regular long-travel backpack would not fit in. I guess the tidyness depends mostly on the locators. There was one incident that I didn't like the state of the toilet for a while, but usually the cleaning was done with perfect timing

Excelente ubicación, muy cómodo y limpio. Hermosa terraza y área común

Se estropeó la puerta del baño y me quedé encerrada, estuvo así 2 días y cuando me fui todavía no la arreglaban

Great location and very clean

The electricity didn’t work in my room on the first night. The kitchen is VERY basic. I chose not to use it. There is no common room and it’s a very small hostel so it’s not easy to meet other travellers. I wouldn’t recommend for a social traveller.

Nothing except that it’s close to the beach.

Don’t stay here it’s an Airbnb with no reception. For almost every night I was here there was a completely crazy lady who was harrassing most people in the hostel and especially me as I was the only other Spanish speaker and she only spoke Spanish. I informed the hostel via text the first night i was there of her behaviour in the hostel including tying up her own washing lines in the courtyard and then yelling at people who mistakenly used it and yelling at people to “look at her in the eye when they spoke to her” and also hid the air conditioning remote at night in another girls bag and to top it off wanted all the room lights off at 8pm every night. With no reception there is literally no one to intervene when guests are acting completely out of line and all the lady could say over the phone was I was welcome to leave if I wanted to when another guest was chasing me around the hostel and multiple other girls saw it 🙃 once this lady got a warning she then chased me down again in the street and continued to act inappropriately saying I had a “yoga body” and just making such strange comments to me that I didn’t even bother texting the ‘reception’ because they clearly didn’t care. These kinds of places that cut costs by having no reception are fine until you have issues and they refuse to intervene. There was also a horrible smell the whole time I was there and they kept blaming it on a “guests cooking” only for it to a be dead cat that was cut out of the wall. Do NOT stay here it actually ruined my time in Naxos being at this hostel and there is no common room just a shared balcony.
