D7 Elegante, moderno y acogedor

I love having a full bath and a half bath especially because there were three of us. It was very spacious and had all the amenities we needed. I can really see staying here for a week and be very comfortable. Location is central to everything in Roma Norte. The Neighbourhood is very safe. Steps away from best restaurants and street eats. We even walked back from dinner in Contramar and walked to Masala y Maiz for lunch. Beds are very comfortable and there is a water station inside the apartment.

El departamento es tal cual como aparece en las fotos: tiene una decoración muy bonita y una buena distribución. Es amplio en general, con dos habitaciones grandes, dos baños y una cocina. En la terraza superior colgamos ropa, la que se seca muy rápido. El departamento no cuenta con ascensor y está ubicado en un cuarto piso, por lo que hay que subir escaleras; sin embargo, haciéndolo con calma no se hace tan pesado. La ubicación es excelente: al lado hay un minimarket y diversos negocios. El sector es muy seguro para caminar y está orientado principalmente a turistas extranjeros, lo que también eleva los precios al momento de comprar alimentos o salir a comer. En los alrededores hay plazas, mercados y distintos comercios. Es un lugar muy bonito y seguro.

Nosotros viajamos en abril y, en general, el departamento funcionó bien. Sin embargo, a veces era difícil regular la temperatura, ya que al interior se sentía un poco frío, mientras que afuera hacía bastante calor. Por lo mismo, en invierno probablemente debe ser más frío. De todas formas, nos dejaron frazadas adicionales y también una estufa, lo que se agradece en caso de necesitar calefacción. Además, no entra mucha luz natural, lo que también hace que uno pierda un poco la referencia de la temperatura exterior.

No había secador de cabello

The apartment was large and spacious, and in an excellent location with bars, restaurants and a supermarket along the same street.

There was no lift to take us up two flights of stairs, which was not mentioned in the listing. I was traveling with my mother and aunt who have bad knees and the constant going up and down the stairs was difficult for them. Before arriving, the host placed us in a state of panic by saying that the number of guests allowed was only two, and any additional guest would be charged 5000 pesos. We had however made the booking for three people! When I responded to clarify, there was simply no reply, which in my view was quite unprofessional. We did not have hot water for the first two days and when the building manager came to our apartment to check, we realised the heater had been turned off the entire time! We had not touched it because the instructions for the apartment explicitly stated that we were not to change any of the heater settings. But then the host should have ensured that the heater was turned on when we arrived! There was also no kettle to boil water and we had to do so in a pot over the stove. The lights in the apartment kept flickering - some bulbs clearly needed to be changed. There was a power outage on one of the days that lasted about 3 hours and I was surprised that the building did not have a backup generator.
