Pavilion Court in Wembley

Cleanliness of the room. It’s very near the Wembley Stadium. It’s like 3 mins walk only so it is very convenient if you are planning to watch a football match or a concert. Once you close the window, it is very quiet. And the staff are very friendly. I would definitely stay here again.

Very close to Wembley stadium. Soundproof glass. Nice courtyard you can sit in and relax before or after an event.

Staff don’t seem aware that the property is rented to the public. On booking, I was automatically sent a message stating that the property was only available to students and if I was not a student I would need to cancel. However there was a graphic in the property images stating clearly that non-students were welcome to book in between July and September. I queried the initial message and was told in no uncertain terms that non-students were not allowed to stay. I tried to call to confirm but the number listed is disconnected/not valid. I queried with Booking.com who were also unable to contact anybody at the property. After about 24 hours I received another message stating the listing was correct, non-students can stay between July and September. Then, a day before the booking I received another message stating again that non-students were not permitted to stay but it seemed automated so I arrived as planned and the receptionist seemed happy to check me in. When I got to the property itself the room was fine. It was rather warm due to the heatwave and there is no air conditioning but it was habitable with the window ajar. The courtyard is quite loud with comings and goings late at night, and there are large flocks of seagulls squealing at regular intervals from the early morning. However, It cooled down on the second night so I was able to shut the window which blocked out almost all the noise. On my way back in after the concert I was chased after by a security guard demanding to know if I was a resident - I said I’d booked a room, he didn’t seem aware that this was possible. The room would have benefited from a bin. There was a bin in the shared kitchen but it was full and smelly; the fridges were similarly unclean. However inside the room and en suite was spotless. Overall I’d stay again if needed, purely due to the location.
