Being within a short walk of the train station means it is possible to get here by foot (trains can be a challenging on Sundays and many local stations were under renovation during our visit, leaving facilities virtually non‑existent). La Casetta di Nina strikes a fine balance between minimalist aesthetics and practical hospitality. The clever use of space, ample amenities, and strategic lighting make it a delightful base for both short getaways and longer retreats. The neighbourhood’s blend of cafés and eateries adds a lively culinary backdrop to the stay, and independent supermarkets and speciality food shops are also within easy walking distance. Add to that a very friendly, helpful and understanding host, whose English is excellent, your stay should be delightful.

Minor points- The staircase was somewhat creaky. If you're more accustomed to quiet surroundings you will pick up on the garage shutters going up for early morning departures, right down to the final spin cycle of a washing machine.

La casetta di Nina ci è piaciuta molto perché è una struttura nuova, curata nei dettagli, ha tutte le comodità, è accogliente e ben posizionata. È possibile raggiungere anche a piedi il centro di Castellana e i principali negozi di necessità. Il proprietario è molto attento ad ogni esigenza e subito disponibile a rispondere alle richieste degli ospiti. Il soggiorno è stato molto piacevole e contiamo di ritornare sicuramente.
