Such a gem of a place! We were looking for a quiet place in the middle of nowhere yet close to everything and this was exactly that. We stayed in the gyte, which is equipped with everything you might possible need. It is comfortable and chilled in the high sun, and comfortable at night (August stay). It is super quiet at night bar the sounds of nature and the old wood. I have never seen such sky full of stars, no light pollution. The owners are superb, very responsive, supportive, welcoming, available and proud of their property. They showed us around, told the history of the place and shared their future plans. We will definitely be back.
Only personal choice and related to the gyte only: toilet downstairs was not very convenient at night time.
