The location and the fact that it was spacious apartment in a closed complex which gives some element of added security. Though centrally located, it is not noisy.

The host response was very slow, some basic questions took hours to reply, in one case which was important for us there was no reply at all, and even before check-in, response to a basic query took days. The worst of all is that the property does not offer any luggage safeplace/ deposit once you check-out. When I asked the host if there was a place we could leave our luggage for a few hours the host's reply, after some hours of delay, was that it cannot be done and advised us to search for luggage deposits around the area. When I asked thereafter (being the day before check-out) if we could have a late check-out, since travelling around with 2 kids to find luggage deposits is inconvenient, we have never received any reply whatsoever rom the host. Overall the host seem distant, not willing, and having a behaviour which I did not expect from a professional host.

Excellent stay - Highly recommend! The location is perfect, right at the heart of Duomo just like its name. The apartment is spacious, clean, and fully equipped with everything we needed. On top of that, the host was incredibly helpful and welcoming. Would absolutely stay here again!

Not far from Duomo, good neighbourhood

We experienced several issues during our stay that significantly affected our overall experience. First, communication with the property was extremely slow. It often took a very long time to receive any response. We were traveling with a child and had requested a baby crib — which was clearly listed as free in both the booking and confirmation. However, the property later tried to charge us €50 for it. It took two calls to Booking.com support and lengthy communication with the property to resolve the issue and receive the crib free of charge, as originally promised. When we arrived, the crib was provided but unfortunately in poor condition. It had no mattress — only two pillows and a blanket folded inside, along with a decorative pillow without a pillowcase, none of which were appropriate or safe for a baby to sleep on. We requested a proper mattress, and although we were told it would be provided, it never arrived during our 4-night stay. Additionally, there were no blankets in the apartment, only bed sheets, which made our stay uncomfortable. On top of that, the sink was broken and unusable throughout our stay, which was a major inconvenience.
