Wanaka easy-living with incredible lake views

Had some difficulty using the cooktop - instructions for use would have been helpful.

Great location. Nice off-street parking and very clean and spacious. Probably the biggest place we had during our whole holiday and it was nice to have two separate rooms even for a couple. It was quiet in the bedrooms and beautiful views of the mountains.

Sound from other apartment carried through the hallway and front door so if there are loud people in the other apartment you can hear them when in the living room/kitchen.

Great view and really comfortable apartment. Easy to get into Wanaka and far enough away from the crowds when you want a break.

The property has amazing mountain and lake views! Nice, quiet neighborhood. Short drive to the Wanaka centre.

On our 3th day the hot water stopped running in the morning. We had to have showers in very cold water. It’s winter time in Wanaka and the temperatures are around 3C in the mornings. This happened because both gas bottles were empty. We couldn’t even used the other gas bottle as it was empty too. Unfortunately no working bathroom light on our arrival. Also not enough towels were provided for 9 days stay. Only 2 / per person. 3 adults were travelling. We were charged $2519.25 Australian dollars for the stay. From the 16.6- 24.6. 2026 I was expecting more towels + tisuees box for this type of price. -mattress in the bedrooms were too soft and not comfortable. Unfortunately no AC in the two bedrooms. Small portable heaters were provided, they were ok to use during the late afternoons, but we felt bit unsafe to use them the whole night. The main living room had AC but the heat didn’t reach into the bedrooms. Regarding the empty gas bottles I contacted the owner via Booking. com and he ordered a new ones. Luckily they were changed before we came back at night time so we could have a hot showers. I was disappointed also about our stay and the way I was treated from the landlord. ( bit fake and misleading answers)
