Adesi 15 Tropea - Suites de Charme

Great location (if you want to be in the vibrant old center, that could be also noisy sometimes), very warm and nice staff. The apartment was spacious, clean with a nice terrace on the last floor.

The location is excellent—central and close to everything, including the beach, though getting to the beach involves descending a great many stairs (to the right of the cliff there are 189 steps; to the left, I didn't count, but the descent is gentler). Stepping out of the apartment puts you right among shops and restaurants—there is an exceptionally large number of them here. I recommend "Il Convivio," though you need to book a table or wait in line. The apartments are new and beautifully furnished; the amenities include kitchen equipment, cleaning supplies, towels, toiletries, and even a washing machine on the terrace (with two starter pods)—which came in handy for washing the salt out of our beach towels. Everything looks exactly like the photos; it is clean, comfortable, and spacious. There is a capsule coffee machine and a microwave. Air conditioning is provided in both rooms. The terrace is quite large, featuring two sun loungers and a small table with four chairs. The owner, Rino, is incredibly friendly and explained everything to us. He was waiting for us at the apartment, and we stayed in touch via WhatsApp afterwards. Best regards to Rino, and thank you once again! ;)

The only thing I didn't like—and this has nothing to do with the apartment itself, as I have absolutely no complaints about that—was the price of a beach set (two sun loungers and an umbrella). I’ve visited various countries and beaches, but the prices here simply floored me. A set at Mama Beach, to the left of the cliff, cost 50 euros (a flat rate), whereas on the other side of the cliff at Rotonda Beach, prices started at 50 euros for the fourth row from the sea, rising to 70 euros for the front row...

What can I say about this apartment! What an unexpected surprise! We loved everything about it, from the service, to communication, to PRIME location, to the best view in Tropea, a clear view of Stromboli volcano, the interior design, the HUGE balcony, double shower, washing machine, natural sun-dried clothes in a couple of hours, amenities, detergents, espresso, and so much more! What a beauty! We were so sad to leave!
