Hotel Sahar Garden Near Mumbai International Airport

The hotel was valued at for money. I got what I paid for and also airport drop off. They told me they would have picked me up if I have informed them of my arrival time. They just need to sort out their food product. After ordering a cup of masala tea to be delivered in my room they forgot it completely and nothing was delivered. One hour later I called up and cancelled. Went down for breakfast today morning and the restaurant wasn’t even open at 8 am. Not much choice for breakfast.

I stayed at this hotel and unfortunately had a very unpleasant experience with the staff. Most of my interactions were with a *** who was at the reception desk. When I checked in, I asked him whether it would be cheaper to pay him in cash or make the booking online. He told to me the price would be the same. That turned out to be completely untrue: the online price was approximately half the price in cash. After I paid him, he also did not give me my change. The next day, I needed to extend my stay for another night, so I paid for the second night. Later, the same employee demanded additional payment from me, claiming that I had not paid. I asked to speak to the manager, and he told me that he was the manager. I then had to spend a long time arguing and proving that I had already paid for my stay. It was extremely annoying and unpleasant. These were not isolated incidents. In these and many other interactions I had with this employee, he repeatedly tried to get more money from me than I actually owed and tried to cheat. I have no problem paying extra as a tip when hotel employees provide good service. But repeatedly misleading a guest and trying to extract additional money is completely different and made my stay very unpleasant. I had originally planned to stay longer in Mumbai and extend my reservation at this hotel. Instead, because of my repeated problems with this employee, I moved to another hotel for the following week.

If you want the area and locality then go or else avoid completely. Bad rooms rude staff and unclean. They don’t have electronics working and it’s very old and broken infrastructure

The location is excellent just near the metro station, offering a pleasant view and reliable hot water, which made the stay comfortable in some ways. However, the overall experience was hampered by poor cleanliness and lackluster housekeeping. The staff's service was below expectations, and the amenities and shopping options were quite limited, affecting the value for money.
