Between The Lakes! 5 Bedrooms

The house was very spacious, nice to have bathrooms with all the bedrooms. Like the location and the view. Cleaning was only fair. It looked to be surface cleaned but the bathroom and bedrooms could have been better. Didn’t spend a lot of time at the house so we cleaned up the areas ourselves so we felt more comfortable.

My family (2 adults, three teens) were visiting New Orleans over Spring Break, but wanted to stay somewhere that balanced seclusion with convenience and this place covered all the bases! Even though the property next door is still under renovation (warning - some debris and trash next to the property), the view from the back of the house is amazing and the house itself is spacious, but also allows us to all watch a movie at midnight. When we talk about family memories, this is one that ranks near the very top, with a beautiful home, amazing views, plenty of room and a host that wanted to make sure this was a perfect vacation. Would recommend this in a heartbeat.

The home was perfect for our family Christmas vacation as we came together traveling from Texas and Georgia. It was so roomy for our large group (and dogs) with brand new & comfy furniture, beds, appliances and bathrooms (stocked with everything we could possibly need). The views were absolutely stunning, especially overlooking the docks at sunset. It was so peaceful at the home yet about 30 minute drive to the French Quarter and 15-20 minutes to Slidell. Plenty of parking available under the house and on gravel driveway (the owners gave us heads up to park there as it’s a lakefront property & will be muddy when it rains). The owners were very responsive & friendly and gave us some great recommendations. We made great memories here and would stay again!
