About this villa rental
Villa Tortuga is a large property located in a tranquil position on the hillside of the Sorrentine peninsula, halfway between Sorrento and Positano, which are both about 10 km away.
The nearest village is Sant’Agata sui due Golfi (5-minute drive), where in the hottest summer days you can find some relief and where there is all you may need such as: supermarket, pubs and restaurants, pharmacies, post office, banks, etc.
By the way, at about 400 meters there is a very nice resort/restaurant where you can have meals (including breakfast) at a reduced rate.
This beautiful villa is immersed in the greenery, and from here you will have the opportunity to enjoy amazing views of the bay, the sea and of Li Galli islets.
Villa Tortuga spreads over two floors, on the ground floor there is a double bedroom with ensuite bathroom with shower, a large open plan fully equipped kitchen/living room furnished with tables, chairs and sofas with access to a panoramic balcony and a large garden/patio with a pergola and an outside table with chairs; the ideal place to enjoy al fresco dining while admiring the views.You can reach going the lower floor through a few steps and it consists of two large double bedrooms and a large bathroom.
The bedrooms have direct access to a panoramic terrace with private ground, swimming pool and a large garden area.
This spot of heaven is the perfect retreat for a relaxing vacation, ideal for large groups of friends or families.

The good: The Villa sits in a stunning location with picturesque views. The manager has good communication and fixes problems should they arise. The above ground pool is small, but a welcome play area for the kids. The house is beautiful inside and has lots of space. Just a short walk from the villa there is an excellent restaurant. The bad: Almost all the stays we’ve had in Italy had uncomfortable beds, but this one took the cake. We all joked about sleeping on the floor being more comfortable. Ultimately we took turns sleeping on the very comfortable couch. Lastly for the bad the water pressure is a bit of a letdown, but I suspect this is due to the location. Definitely not a deal breaker. Things to note: This place is very out of the way (25 minutes from Sorrento in Sant’ Agata). I’d highly suggest renting a car or scooter. Getting taxis to pick you up is next to impossible due to the narrow roads. Most want you to walk to the nearest store (22minutes mostly steep uphill). Summary: A beautiful rental with great views, good management, and relaxing atmosphere. Plan to rent a vehicle and prepare for a very firm mattress (unless they update due to my review).
