About this house rental

Built out of stone, this is a 4-bedroom holiday home in Hotton, in the heart of Belgian Ardennes. The garden invites you to relax and admire the surrounding nature. A family or group of 8 members will find this holiday home perfect. Hotton is known for its speleothem caves, known as the Caves of Hotton. The bustling and lively town center rests at 2 km if you wish to wander and witness the streetscape. You will also find a bakery at 2 km. To swim a few laps on a hot day, the public swimming pool rests 5 km away. The holiday home has central heating for comfort. You can sit by the cozy wood stove in the living room while having meals or conversations. There is a barbecue to enjoy the evenings. A washing machine and tumble dryer are provided for help with daily chores. Parking is available.

Het huis is totaal niet in de staat die de foto's doen uitschijnen en vuil! De keuken: lades vallen uit elkaar, alles kleeft, totaal niet gekuist, kleine frigo, vuilbak binnen rook naar sigaretten,... Wij hebben alvast alles afgewassen voor gebruik. Spinnen in alle vertrekken. Niet genoeg kussens voor de stoelen buiten, geen parasol. Muffe geur in de slaapkamers, onze kamer rook naar hondenpis. Niet voor 8 personen indien je niet buiten kan eten, anders veel te klein. Badkamer zonder ramen en donker. Vuilnis moeten meenemen in je auto na een weekend is ook alles behalve aangenaam. Geen parking aan het huis. Na het zien van de foto's waren we vol verwachting vertrokken maar helaas. Bij deze, een gewaarschuwd man/vrouw....

Leuk verblijf! Lekker rustige omgeving. Grote tuin, lekker afdak en terras met leuk uitzicht. Ook goed verblijf voor de hond omdat de poort achter ook dicht kan. In de buurt voldoende leuke dingen te doen/zien.

Het huis zelf is een prachtige woning, een mooi oud huis in goed onderhouden staat. Er is van alles aanwezig en het is ruim voorzien van bijvoorbeeld bestek, borden en glazen. We hebben een defect gehad met de warmwater boiler in de accommodatie en dit was binnen 2 dagen perfect opgelost, daarvoor complimenten aan Belvilla. Er zijn wel wat aandachtspunten: - Het vakantieadres was moeilijk te vinden. Op internet en in de toegestuurde informatie stond de verkeerde straatnaam waardoor het moeilijk zoeken was naar de goede routebeschrijving. - Er staat nergens in de beschrijving van de accommodatie dat deze aan een redelijk drukke weg ligt. Voor ons op zich niet hinderlijk, maar het is wel eerlijker dit te vermelden. - De schoonmaak liet echt te wensen over. Het was nog gewoon viezig te noemen. De afstandsbediening van de t.v. bijvoorbeeld plakte onaangenaam. - De vuilsortering is een aandachtspunt. In huis was er welgeteld één (kapotte) afvalbak zonder deksel. Je krijgt in totaal drie verschillende soorten vuilniszakken mee die je vervolgens nergens kwijt kunt. Achter in de tuin stonden wel vier plastic afvalbakken waarvan er drie overvol waren, bij aankomst al. Blijkbaar heeft niemand daar bij de schoonmaak naar gekeken? En op de terugweg naar het sleuteladres moet je vervolgens je volle, stinkende afvalzak in de auto meenemen om het vervolgens daar weg te gooien volgens de beschrijving van de afvalscheiding. Da's niet zo handig. - Wij waren met zes personen en dat ging prima. Voor acht personen is het, met name binnen, wel wat aan de krappe kant denk ik. Maar over het algemeen genomen hebben we een prettig verblijf gehad in een mooi huis met een heerlijke tuin met meer dan voldoende zitruimte en speelruimte voor de kinderen. Het was heerlijk koel beneden. En alles in de accommodatie werkte prima zoals het zou moeten. Het was echt fijn dat er bijvoorbeeld een wasmachine en droger aanwezig waren.
