The cottage is situated in a quiet, scenic, dead end road nestled in a peaceful, gorgeous mountain setting with spectacular views of the Green Mountains to the east. This property features 2 cozy bedrooms - one with a queen bed and the other with a bunk bed, an office and washer/dryer. This is a beautiful rustic living space with a wonderful blend of traditional and modern elements! The exposed wooden beams, shiplap accent wall, and wide-plank hardwood floors create that classic cottage aesthetic. The mix of rustic charm with comfortable, livable furniture creates a welcoming atmosphere that you are sure to enjoy.
This property was designed with privacy and comfort in mind and offers fantastic outdoor living space - lovely covered porch, side deck and propane grill for you to enjoy the pleasant surroundings while entertaining friends and family. The porch and side deck offers space for storage for skiing equipment, bikes etc.
First floor includes an open concept living/dining and kitchen space, along with one bedroom, a full bath and an office. Large windows highlight sweeping mountain views and allow for plenty of natural light. Second floor master bedroom suite with vaulted ceiling and en-suite full bath with panoramic views of the gorgeous Green Mountains. The washer and dryer are located in the finished basement part of the house.
Centrally located between Rutland and Middlebury, and within a 25 mile radius, you will have quick access to Killington and Pico mountains, Mountain Top Inn & Resort and Chittenden Reservoir. There are plenty of dining options in the surrounding towns and 1.5 hours south of Burlington where you can enjoy the thriving city and Lake Champlain.
