In 1882, businessman Emil Lindemann built the most elegant hotel in Heringsdorf. He named it the “Grand Hotel Seeschloß.” It was the first hotel in town to feature an elevator and bathrooms on each floor. In 2002, the property underwent a stylish and extensive renovation, and today, with its prime location, it remains one of the most prestigious addresses in Heringsdorf. A 2- to 3-minute walk takes you to Europe’s longest pier, at 508 meters, as well as the 8-kilometer-long promenade connecting the three imperial spas of Bansin, Heringsdorf, and Ahlbeck.
