My wife and I stayed here to celebrate her birthday, and it was an unforgettable experience! The property is absolutely stunning, right on Moss Lake with breathtaking views. We were lucky enough to have a full moon during our stay, and it was magical watching the moonlight reflect off the water. Even better, we saw several meteors and shooting stars while relaxing in the hot tub – truly an experience we’ll never forget!
The house itself has everything you could possibly need. The owners have thought of every detail, from cozy blankets to kitchen gadgets.. it felt like home the moment we walked in. The hot tub was the perfect touch for star-gazing after a day of exploring downtown Minocqua.
We were so impressed with the amount of space, too. There’s so much room for a large group, and we’re already planning to bring our whole family next time. There are activities for everyone, and the peaceful surroundings made it a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle.
Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a relaxing and fun getaway. We can’t wait to return!

Fern + Moss is everything you want in an “Up North” vacation getaway and more! Every detail in this stunning A-Frame, from the interior to the exterior, was thoughtfully curated for lakeside luxury. Plenty of space for family trips, gals/guys getaways or empty nesters looking to unwind and recharge. Listen to the lakeside loons, watch bald eagles soar and catch bluegills & bass off the dock. Your hosts have thought of everything and are so attentive, you’ll want to make this your only choice for northern WI lodging!
