Conveniently located on the edge of town to make your adventures westward a

straight shot and keep your vacation schedule smooth. What's west, you say? On

your way up the Royal Gorge Highway 50 you'll find the Royal Gorge Railroad,

Museum of Colorado Prisons, Colorado Jeep Tours, Skyline Drive, River Rafting

Expeditions, Dinosaur Experience, Royal Gorge Bridge & Park, trails galore, &

more! Be sure to soak in the majestic scenery, because if you love mountains,

you'll love the drive itself! The perfect, central spot to so many adventures:

1 hour to - the town of Salida, Florissant Fossil Beds, Colorado Springs, (45

min) to Pueblo, Bishop Castle. A little farther, but a great destination if

you have the time - 2 hr 40 min to Great Sand Dunes. Just to name a few!



Upon arriving at House of Broken Dove, the first thing you'll notice is the

inviting, grand covered porch. Perfect for morning coffee or evening drinks,

and with one of the best views in town of 4th of July fireworks atop Skyline

Drive! Deer trails run along the back of the property where our friendly

visitors mosey through to graze or take a nap in the lower yard. Off the deck

you'll find convenience in a fenced and graveled yard for your pups to do

their business. Through access from the lower yard, you'll find your own

personal path that leads directly up to the Hogback and Skyline trails for

hiking and taking in the sights! (Our goal is to add a gate to the upper back

yard for alternative/quicker access.)



Inside you have plenty of room to spread out, with 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms,

as well as 2 kitchens; perfect for a family gathering, especially during

holidays. The home has a well-appointed design as having the potential for 2

private living spaces, for when you want to be close to family, but not too

close! Upstairs are 3 bedrooms: primary suite with bathroom and king bed,

bedroom with bunk-bed (twin over full), and bedroom with full and twin beds;

as well as a shared hallway bathroom. The lower level has a separate, ground

floor entry for easier access for those who need it. There are 2 bedrooms:

bedroom with queen bed, and bedroom with full bed. The shared bathroom even

has a walk-in tub! In the living room there is a sofa with a pull out bed,

just in case you need the extra sleeping spaces. Additionally, there is a

fold-up twin bed that can be placed in any space you need. There is even an

office/flex space that can be closed off for privacy and act as a 6th bedroom.



The garage is not available at this time, but will be at a future date. There

is plenty of room for parking in the driveway, as well as a 14' carport for

parking your RV or vehicle under.



Pet Policy: We allow up to 2 pets. Please note that we only allow caged

animals. There is a pet fee of $20 for each pet per day.
