Located 30 miles south of Charlottesville, VA, Acorn Inn is a convenient rendezvous spot between northern and southern states for family and friends to gather. 12 miles from the scenic Blue Ridge Parkway's Reid's Gap, 2 miles from Wintergreen Resort's Stoney Creek in Nellysford, near Nelson County's popular breweries, wineries, restaurants & seasonal Farmers' Market--- this delightful, one-level B&B offers 10 art-filled bedrooms (once horse stalls!) each w a DBL bed, desk & wardrobe.
A few steps takes you to 4 bathrooms (6 toilets, 4 showers), a kitchenette, and a sky-lit living room with cozy futons, easy chairs, TV---plus a kids' corner with books, games and toys.
Guests enjoy the continental breakfast of home-baked muffins, cobbler, and breads, to go with coffee, tea, hot chocolate & OJ.
Outside, the Inn is surrounded by open meadows, great for setting up an event tent or for general romping or relaxing. For special events (parties, concerts, workshops) there's an 800-sq-ft Reception Gallery with an additional kitchenette, 2 microwaves, a covered patio & outdoor grill on an extensive deck w. built-in benches.
